Starting with Zoom

Zoom is a video conferencing tool that works on various platforms and mobile devices. Zoom is integrated into our Moodle system. Instructors can create a Zoom meeting on Moodle and share it with their students. 

To host and participate in Zoom meetings, you will need:

• Laptop, desktop, smart phone or tablet (processor min. 1 GHz)
• Web cam
• Headphones (or speakers)
• High bandwidth Internet connection
• Zoom app/software installed on your device
• You need to create an account at https://zoom.us/ with your boun e-mail, then Zoom will ask you to join the University account and you need to say yes.
